One, where are the deer coming from? Where are they bedding and am I going to be able to draw them from it easily. I don’t want to be right in the deers bedroom. I want to be give them a little room so they don’t feel as pressured by my presence in that bedding area.

The other huge factor for me is access. You may have a great spot for a food plot but the problem is you are going to blow all the game out trying to access the food plot walking in and out. You have defeated yourself before the hunt has even started. So placing the food plot in a place that you can access and then get out of easily is a huge key. So in choosing your location make sure you factor all of these things in to make sure the food plot is all is can be for you!
